CHAD O'CONNOR
Executive Managing Director of Capital Markets
Chad O’Connor joined the San Diego office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. (MMCC) in June 2004. As an Executive Managing Director of capital markets with MMCC, Mr. O’Connor is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing for an array of property types including multifamily, office and industrial, retail, seniors housing and hospitality. He is well connected with national, regional, and local funding sources including, but not limited to, agency lenders (e.g., Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, private and public funds and bridge lenders.
During his career with MMCC, Mr. O’Connor was honored as MMCC’s top originator in 2007 and has been a top 5 producer for the past fifteen years. He was a recipient of the firm’s prestigious national achievement award in 2007, 2010-2023 and has received a sales recognition award every year since 2006. He is a 7-time Chairman's Club winner and 5 time Circle of Excellence.
Mr. O’Connor is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biopsychology. He holds a real estate salesperson’s license from the California Department of Real Estate. He is currently active in the Commercial Realtors Association and the Mortgage Bankers Association and is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties Developing Leaders.
KEVIN ELLIOTT
Vice President of Capital Markets
Kevin Elliott is a Vice President for Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC), joining the O’Connor Group in 2016. Kevin focuses on helping commercial real-estate owners capture the equity they have created within their portfolio and assists buyers in identifying the most competitive terms for new acquisitions. Prior to joining MMCC, Kevin was an Associate within our National Multi-Housing Group and sold over 100 units in his first year.
Kevin has been at Marcus & Millichap for over nine years and has received several awards including Sales Recognition Awards, Pace Setter, Top Cold-Caller and the Spirit Award (credit goes to coffee). Although he is a 7th Generation Californian, Kevin headed east for college and is a graduate of the University of Arizona. In four years, he earned an Associate’s in Entrepreneurship, a minor in Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of California.
Outside the office, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashlee. Together they have two daughters, Aubrey (2 ½) and Mia (1 ½), as well as a mini-Aussie, Sophie.
Bruce Nechanicky joined the San Diego office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. (MMCC) in November 2022. As an Associate Director with MMCC, Mr. Nechanicky is responsible for financial analysis and marketing within the team.
Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. Nechanicky served as a Naval Officer in the United States Navy for over 20 years. In 2017 He graduated from BUD/S (Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL) training as the Officer In Charge of Class 323. Mr. Nechanicky is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He also was a 4 year lettermen of the nationally ranked Navy Midshipmen Lacrosse team.
BRUCE NECHANICKY

Andrew joined the San Diego office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) in April 2022. As an analyst with MMCC, Mr. Finman is primarily responsible for the financial analysis and marketing within the team. He also assists with the underwriting and loan processing.
Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. Finman served as an Associate Banker with PNC Bank.
Mr. Finman is a graduate of The University of Washington, where he studied Sociology and Business Administration. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of California.
